When Neil Armstrong landed on the moon his first words were "One small step for me,one giant leap for mankind".This all of us know, as it is a part of history.What many do not know is the fact that soon after he said this,he whispered into his microphone"Good luck Mrs.Chechorvsky..".It was a barely audible whisper and just a few heard it back at Ground Control in Houston.
When he returned a few curious members of the staff asked him just who this Mrs.Chechorvsky was.Armstrong turned them away saying that it was something personal, and it was left at that.
The years went by and Neil Alden Armstrong inevitably became a worldwide living legend.In 1999,a very popular magazine in America was doing an article on the 30th anniversary on the first journey to the moon, and one of the journalist's working on the article dug up the little know Mrs.Chechorvsky fact.So in an interview with Armstrong he asked him just who this enigmatic Mrs.Chechorvsky was?
To this Armstrong gave a wry grin and replied,"When I was a little boy in Wapakoneta, Ohio my neighbours were a Mr and Mrs.Chechorvsky.
One day I was in the backyard and I heard them having a loud argument,and at some point Mr.Chechorvsky just lost it and said,"Why dont you just suck my dick!!!".
To this Mrs Chechorvsky replied,"I will do that, the day the kid next door, lands on the moon!!"
